Mario Bonnet and his wife experience
In the second half of 2013, my wife was diagnosed with a serious eye condition in both her eyes which could lead to blindness if left untreated. It turned out that at that time, the necessary treatment was not available in Malta and my wife and I had to go to a leading eye hospital in the UK for treatment.

Puttinu means the world to me
Now, that I am getting closer and closer to finishing my treatment, I felt I had to send you a small thank you message concerning you, Dr. Victor Calvagna and the other nurses and doctors in Rainbow Ward. Honestly when I remember the first time entering the Ward, I still hadn’t met you guys as it was very early but I felt something which immediately made me feel at home.
The Marathon
Ever since my son had been diagnosed with leukaemia I had been looking forward to the Maratona – which is surprising since I am not all that keen on football.
